My ceramic work centers on creating functional tableware that reflects both the tranquility and unpredictability of nature. I draw inspiration from weathered landscapes, shifting light, and moments when stillness gives way to change. Spontaneous gestural lines often move across each piece, capturing moments of motion and instability. Moody, layered colors and varied textures evoke depth, erosion, and a strong sense of place, resulting in work that balances calm with quiet volatility.
Function is essential, but so is feeling, these pieces are meant to be used daily and lived with. Through this balance, I aim to create timeless objects that connect people to the earth.
